I can’t say enough positive things about my experience at Acupuncture Works. Doctor Leslie listened to my concerns and addressed them with the utmost compassion and empathy. Before visiting Acupuncture Works, I had been dealing with menopausal symptoms for over ten years. Traditional medicine basically offers one approach to treat the associated symptoms. This treatment plan consists of hormone therapy which can be detrimental to other areas of a woman’s health. This treatment did help relieve my symptoms during the time I was using it. After I made the decision to stop taking it due to concerns about the side effects it can cause, my symptoms returned. I was under the impression that the symptoms would naturally dissipate after a certain number of years. Needless to say they did not in my case. After a total of 10 years of insomnia, night sweats, hot flashes, irritability, depression, and a lack of concentration, I assumed I would never complete the change. After only one visit with Doctor Leslie, I immediately began to feel improvement. She prescribed chinese herbs from her pharmaceutical line and I began taking them right away. Within just a few days I noticed a significant decrease in my symptoms. I have been taking them for a few months and my symptoms have decreased to the point where I actually feel human again. I am now able to sleep through the night without experiencing night sweats and the daytime hot flashes can once again be blamed on the weather. My family even thinks I’m pleasant to be around once again. The best part is, when I’m finished with my course of herbal pharmaceuticals, the symptoms are promised not to return. I would highly recommend Doctor Leslie and Acupuncture Works to anyone with women’s health concerns.

I've been in treatment with Acupuncture Works for almost 6 months and have seen a dramatic improvement in my health. I have asthma and this is the first winter in 10+ years that I didn't get sick! I am finally able to live life without constantly worring about having asthma attacks. Leslie is also helping me with some female issues as well and I've noticed a tremendous change.
